Perdue School of Business at SU featured in "Best Graduate Schools
SALISBURY, MD ---The Franklin P. Perdue School of Business at Salisbury University was recently featured in the directory of the 2003 edition of U. S. News & World Report's "Best Graduate Schools."
Only four other schools of business at Maryland colleges and universities, public and private, were included in the directory: Loyola College's Sellinger School, Morgan State University's Graves School, the University of Baltimore's Merrick School and the University of Maryland College Park's Smith School.
The Perdue School of Business was endowed in 1986 with a multi-million dollar gift from agri-businessman and philanthropist Frank Perdue. AASCB International accredits the Perdue School's baccalaureate and master's programs; only 25 percent of the business schools worldwide enjoy that distinction.
The Perdue School includes the departments of Accounting and Legal Studies, Economics and Finance, Information and Decision Science, and Management and Marketing.
