Poet Don Schofield comes to SU December 5 for Writers-on-the-Shore reading

SALISBURY, MD ---As part of its Writers-on-the-Shore series, the Department of English at Salisbury University presents author and poet Don Schofield on Thursday, December 5, at 8 p.m. in Nanticoke Room A, Guerrieri University Center.

A resident of Greece for more than 20 years, Schofield teaches at the University of LaVerne, Athens. His poetry and prose have appeared in New England Review, Partisan Review, The Antioch Review and other journals. His first volume, Approximately Paradise, was published this year by University Press of Florida. During 2002 he has been a fellow at the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts and writer-in-residence in the Hellenic Studies Program at Princeton.
