SU's PACE Hosts Wicomico County Executive Forum October 9

SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University’s Institute for Public Affairs and Civic Engagement (PACE) co-hosts the discussion “The Future of the County Executive Position in Wicomico County” 6-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 9, in the Patricia R. Guerrieri Academic Commons Assembly Hall.

The community forum will cover “Question A,” a referendum to remove the elected county executive position in Wicomico County. Panelists discuss the ballot measure, the role of the executive and what Question A could mean for the future of county government. Speakers representing various viewpoints will help voters make an informed decision this November.

Sponsored by PACE, the Greater Salisbury Committee and the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce, admission is free and the public is invited. For those who can't join in person, PAC14 also will air the event.

Those planning to park on campus must register in advance for a free parking pass.
