SU Hosts Festival Latino October 5

SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month with Festival Latino! noon-3 p.m. Saturday, October 5, at the Fulton Hall Fountain and Lawn. Rain location is the Great Hall of Holloway Hall.

The free, family-friendly event features vendors, free food, live music and dancing. High school seniors may enter a raffle for an SU scholarship.

Music is by bands Legendario Musican and Grupo Euforia, and DJ Styles from noon-3 p.m, sponsored by Radio ZMX 93.9 FM/1280 AM.

Sponsored by the Modern Languages and Intercultural Studies Department, Charles R. and Martha N. Fulton School of Liberal Arts, College Assistance Migrant Program, Latin American Studies Program, Sociology Department, Office of Diversity and Inclusion, Admissions Office, TRIO Student Support Services, and Organization of Latin American Students, admission is free and the public is invited.
