SU's OLAS hosts a screening of 'A Bridge Apart'
SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University’s Organization of Latin American Students (OLAS) hosts a screening of the 2014 film A Bridge Apart 7 p.m. Thursday, April 25, in Fulton Hall Room 111.
A discussion follows with co-producer Meg Barrett; Leila Borreo Krouse, immigration specialist with El Comite de Apoyo a Los Trabajadores Agricolas (The Farmworker Support Committee); and Dr. Timothy Dunn, SU professor of sociology.
Narrated by Edward James Olmos, the documentary examines the migration of immigrants from Central America and Mexico to the U.S. from the migrants’ point of view.
