The SU Libraries Faculty/Staff Award programs recognize faculty and staff for their work in partnering with the Libraries. They also support and celebrate creative, engaged teaching.
The Information Literacy Partner of the Month Award recognizes faculty and staff who partner with the Libraries in equipping students to be information literate. Librarians nominate candidates for this award, which normally is given several times a year.

Course Enhancement Grants encourage substantive collaborations between faculty and librarians to revise existing courses or design new courses incorporating research and information-literacy skills, using library collections and services, and integrating a librarian as a partner in the course. Faculty submit a short application. The Libraries typically award four to six grants annually.
The SU Libraries Student Award Programs honor the scholarly and creative achievements of SU students with several prizes.
The SU Libraries Undergraduate Research Prize recognizes high-quality undergraduate use of the SU Libraries for research papers or projects. Students submit applications for the prize. Separate prizes are awarded for freshmen/sophomores and juniors/seniors.

The Library Art Prize is a purchase award. The Library Art Prize Committee may select one or more artworks displayed at the Senior Fine Arts Show or the Senior Graphic Design Show each spring and fall to purchase for addition to the SU Libraries’ art collection.

The Distance Library Services Essay Contest recognizes a student's effective and efficient use of the SU Libraries. The Prize will be awarded near the end of each spring semester to a student whose essay best addresses this topic: How have SU Libraries' services and/or resources helped you in your academic journey?
